01 Using Auth Code
These terms apply to Auth Code: 2FA Authenticator and this support website. By using them, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. The app is licensed under the applicable App Store license agreement, including Apple’s Standard EULA where no custom agreement applies.
02 What the app does
Auth Code helps you store authenticator accounts, generate supported one-time codes, scan QR codes, import supported migration codes, use optional widgets and biometric protection, and manage encrypted backups or optional iCloud sync. Availability can depend on your device, operating system, permissions and subscription. It does not control the services you sign in to.
03 Your responsibilities
Only add accounts and secret keys you are authorized to use. Keep your device secure, keep its clock accurate, and keep your service recovery codes outside the app. Set up and verify a backup before removing accounts or replacing a device. You are responsible for preserving your backup password and for checking that an import or restore contains the accounts you expect.
04 Subscriptions and payment
Some features may require an in-app purchase or subscription. The app’s purchase screen displays the applicable price, period and any trial details before you confirm. Apple manages billing and subscription renewal. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings under the terms shown by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple, subject to applicable law. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Restore eligible purchases using the app’s restore option.
05 Acceptable use
Do not use the app or website for unlawful activity, unauthorized access, harassment, spam, attempts to extract other users’ secrets or interference with the service. Do not bypass purchase controls or exploit the contact form. We may limit abusive support requests to protect the service.
06 Backups, sync and external services
iCloud and other third-party services operate under their own terms and can be unavailable. Keep recovery options independent of any single device or provider. We cannot reset a third-party account’s two-factor protection, recover a lost secret key or recover a forgotten backup password. Contact the account provider if you lose access.
07 Ownership and feedback
The app, website, branding and original content remain the property of their respective owners. Your authenticator account data remains yours. Third-party marks identify compatible services and do not imply endorsement. You may send feedback voluntarily; do not include confidential information or authenticator secrets.
08 Availability and liability
We aim to keep the app reliable but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, universal compatibility or protection against every security threat. To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided as available and without additional warranties. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law; nothing in these terms excludes non-excludable consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
09 Privacy and contact
Information processing is described in our Privacy Policy. Support form messages are delivered through Telegram. Do not send codes, secret keys, recovery codes or passwords. Contact us through the contact form or email [email protected].
10 Changes and applicable rights
Features and these terms may change. Material changes will be reflected in an updated version of this page or other appropriate notice. If you stop using the app, remember to preserve your recovery options and cancel any unwanted subscription through Apple. Applicable mandatory law and consumer protections remain in effect. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
